If your kernel crashes, then I suggest you file a bug report about it on
launchpad instead, because the kernel should never crash. Are you using any
proprietary kernel modules, by the way? (The proprietary nvidia drivers, for
example.) If so, then they may make your system unstable, and will taint your
kernel making it harder to get help from kernel developers.
