Another approach is to set standards for documentation
that can be applied by hand and by editor settings:
things like cuddle-else, no tabs, just spaces, indent
shift of 3/4...

Personally, I haven't had much luck with source
format programs since they tend to mess things
up but requiring there use is an operational
way to enforce coding standards.
