-1 for Perl 5.10. I have colleagues at work using Padre on Red Hat 5, which has 5.8.8.
If we move to 5.10 we take Padre away from corporate Unix developer machines, except for those on the most bleeding edge versions. I think we should be defensive about this until the popularity contest functionality is working properly and we can make proper decisions.
