Hi guys ...

Just to clarify -

I'm on a Windows 7 (SP1) platform, running 64-bit windows. I originally
installed the
64-bit version of perl (5.14.2), and it would only install under
C:/strawberry/...
I then discovered the current version of Padre (I believe it's 0.84),
which includes
perl 5.12.3 (apparently 32-bit).

It appears that the command:

   perl -v

exexuted from the cmd interface originally showed 5.14.2, but after
installing Padre,
it is now 5.12.3. I believe some things get reset in the registry when
Padre is installed;
there is no option to activate the later version of perl and not install
the earlier
version.

I currently have Padre only (and 5.12.3). Any ideas how this can be made
to work
with 5.14.2?
