To explain what is the root cause of the problem, please see http://serverfault.com/questions/4689/windows-7-localhost-name-resolution-is-handled-within-dns-itself-why
For Debug::Client 0.24 (resolve localhost to 127.0.0.1 problem) Windows XP works Windows 7 build 7100 and later wont work For Debug::Client 0.24_04, all win32 platforms should work. I just tested it on windows xp and windows 7 ultimate and it installs like a charm. Please release 0.25 ASAP and let us put this issue behind us :) Thanks for all your hard work and sorry for any delay in testing or responding to this one :) 2013/4/17 kevin dawson <ke...@dawson10.plus.com> > On 2013-04-17 04:17, Peter Lavender wrote: > > Great news everyone. > > OK, I'll start up the VM and see how things look. > > Can I confirm that changes to the code have been done on the branch? > > If not, this will have to be sorted out.
