Hi Everyone,

So it's agreed on 1.0.

I've been asked by Kevin to do the release. I'll do the best I can to get it sorted out over this week. Some how I've managed to make time less available these days by being busy with a multitude of things, all of them no where near a keyboard. :-/

I'm just building/testing on my unbuntu VM now.. will things up on my Win7 laptop today, and I still have a Vista workstation I generally test on as well.

Peter.

PS, nice to see you're still around Adam.. how's life?

I agree.

In light of the lack of major development on the project at the moment, it might be a good idea to just make the bump to 1.00 now so that we can continue with more incremental releases in the future without the pressure of having to be complete.

As long as we can be sure of Padre building cleanly on all the platforms we care about, then I say we push to 1.00 and move on.

Adam

    hi all

I think all the post Padre 0.98 issues are now fixed, plus Perl 5.18
    compatibility

so we could go for a release as per requests on #padre recently

as for what version it should be I don't know 0.982 or 1.000

    regards
    bowtie
