These are modules that can extract the list of functions from source code.
This is used to list the functions in the right hand-panel of padre.
(When outline is too expensive)   Nothing to do with perl lists.

With that said I don't have any better idea than this name. If someone can
suggest something better, I'd be happy to consider that.
