Thanks (Debian 7, 64-bit). I found a reference to the problem being Term::Readline::Gnu. See: https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=101078#txn-1463705 Adding the recommended patch fixed the problem with Debug::Client, but now I get other Padre test errors that the plugin manager failed. I'm investigating...
