Well this is what Microsoft does all the time, isnt it? :)
I guess you cant copyright an idea (CurrCalc has been out there for a while
now) you can just try to put in more features to make it worth while for
people registering your program instead of the freeware version. I have a
free version and a shareware version of Highway Manager and I try very hard
to make the shareware version appealing so that people register, but at the
end I'm just happy if they use either one (and the free version gets
downloaded 10 times more than the shareware version).
