Shannon,

Is this really due to the MacPac2?  Doesn't the HotSync manager rely on the
backup bits in the DB headers on the device?  You might take a look at
FPS_Util or some other database "browser" and check the flags.  I regularly
check the backup bits to make sure I'm only backing up those databases I
really want to.  Makes the sync much faster.
