I believe that what is SUPPOSED to happen is that a database that has the
backup bit set (which incidently is required for Platinum certification),
should get backed up only when it changes. So applications should only get
backed up once.

I haven't tested it, but I have heard that the backup conduit on the
MacPac2 backs up all applications, whether or not the backup bit is set.
