Hmm. There seems to be some confusion.....
By default (no flags) any bitmaps will be set to 1bpp and compressed. This
condition will be changed depending on the other flags you use in the bitmap
name. So if you use /-1/MyBitmap, this will turn the 1bpp off and set the
bitmap to 2bpp.
In other words, if you don't use greyscale bitmaps and don't bother about
compression off, you need to do _nothing_.
