It looks as though you're crashing somewhere in the kernel while closing
the prefs database after writing your apps preferences.
Off the top of my head, I can't think of any reason why moving your app to
FLASH would cause something like this. Which makes me suspicious of the
stack trace.
What is the actual error that occurs? (It would be the first couple of
lines in the debugger.)
