IR-Ping?

hi all,
        I use Till Harbaum's IR-Ping to test my 2 P3, I install it in both
them, It can discover each other and connect with IrLAP, but when want to
send a packet , it said "Operation Fail". Is it any other than IR-ping
have to setup? is there any simple demostration code?
