Hmmm...the reason I asked was because the Palm Desktop on-line
help (3.0) has the following phrases under the "HotSync Overview"
topic:
. HotSync is a two-way synchronization of records [...]
. To perform a HotSync, HotSync Manager must be running.
. Perform a local HotSync
. Perform a modem HotSync
