Hi Philip,
I'm not aware of any such limitation with the object ID. I've had
a form with an ID of 1001 having objects with IDs in the 2000-6000
range (I tend to group things by thousands.)
Although I'm not sure, I suspect the number of objects is limited
by the amount of available memory.
