I'm not sure what a Symbol 1700 is. I've only heard of the Symbol SPT 1500.
I went up to the Symbol Web site, and could only find references to the
1500 (e.g., their order page:

All that aside, there's no easy way for you to do what you're asking right
now. Poser is pretty hardcoded to use the single graphic it knows about. In
particular, the irregular window boundary, the LCD location, and the button
locations are all hardcoded. Naturally, if you're not averse to a little
programming, you can change those hardcoded values (as well as the
graphic).

I'm working on making the utilization of different "skins" more flexible in
the future, but the earliest this support will appear in is 2.1d28.

Palmy folks
A client of mine (major account) asked whether it would be possible to
change the graphic on the emulator from the "generic palm" to the Symbol
1700 terminal that they will be marketing their application on.
Does anyone have ideas on how this could be done? Any ideas would be
appreciated.
