a) I thought that it was just the all-lowercase
creator codes (not type codes) that Palm had
reserved

b) that does not mean that you must stick to 
all-uppercase, it means that you must avoid
all-lowercase  (e.g. "myid" is in the reserved
space by "Myid" is fair game)
