That doesn't sound like breaking it to me. There _might_ be a valid reason
for wanting that result. We used something other than "data" for a few
years, and never heard anything about it from anyone for any reason, so I
don't see it as a serious problem.

Of course, off the top of my head, I can't think of a _real good_ reason
for not using "data" either. I don't know what possessed us back then. :-
