Pete,
The problem is that your main application form is Modal.
This also causes the find key to not work.
My apps are gcc compiled and are working fine with the contrast button
on the PalmV.
I can tell your apps (yoda) main form is modal because the title bar
runs across the entire screen and has the (i) selection. That and the word
MODAL in the source code you include ;-)
Hope this helps.

Subject: catching contrast button in palmV
a user recently complained that his contrast dialog wouldnt come up when
he hit the button on his palmV while he was running my app. i dont have
a palm V and the emulator doesnt seem to have a way to hit the contrast
button. is there a way to put up the contrast control when the button
is pressed on a palm V??? i thought any messages sent would be handled
by the OS, but apparantly they arent. BTW, a friend who has a palmV
told me that the contrat control comes up in very few applications.
perhaps this is a larger problem...
there is a ContrastDialog() available for OS 3.1, but my headers are
only for OS 3.0. are the 3.1 headers available. i didnt see them
anywhere on the palm site.
BTW, i use GCC, so that might be my problem, but i dont think so.
