Pete,

        I use a simple alert dialog do display the about info and this will have
the
(i) icon on it for more info. Just add a menu item "About" and in your
event handler catch the menu selection and call FrmAlert(ABOUT_ALERT);

        I think the menu "About" item look a little more professional anyway and it
only hakes a few lines of code.

      Enjoy. Actually I didn't hunt down you app, I had it installed and I
recognized the name. That's right you have grabbed a little fame with
yoda.....Fun little app....

wow! i am sure glad i joined this list! that was one of the quickest
answers ive gotten on anything. thank you! not only that, but you
tracked down my app and looked at my code and i didnt even refer to to
it by name! thanks again! i didnt think the modal forms would disallow
certain actions.

next question is how can i achieve the little (i) button and access the
tips page from a nonmodal form? i like the built in functionality of
the info button and its associated string. is there a way to create
that programmatically or do i need to make a menu that calls another
form?
