Absolutely true - I really only use the physical Palm VII device as a user
and not as a developer. There are a few times when I need the device, like
for testing zipcode/device id logic or for timing reasons, but that's not
often.
FWIW, the Palm VII build 75 rom, posted more than a month ago, was in fact
the GM rom... we just couldn't say so :-) Thus there's no need to download
it again if you've already got build 75.

Alas, 'twas due to production issues. A week or two ago I thought that
units would be available to developers for purchase today. I intend to
keep on pushing for units to be available for you all asap.
