The Palm OS Memory Architecture article #1126 states:

"On systems equipped with the TCP/IP stack, there is an additional 32KB of
dynamic heap to accomodate the TCP/IP stack. Applications cannot count on
having the TCP stack memory available, even if TCP/IP is not running."

All pretty clear. I have an application that allocates 25KB at startup and
runs fine on OS 3.0. I've tested this app running on a PalmPilot Professional
with 1MB (with POSE) and it also runs fine. My questions are:

1. Under what circumstances will it NOT run on this device?

2. Will it also run on an upgraded Pilot 5000?

(I'm not contemplating a redesign of the application to reduce its memory
footprint at this time.)
