Hi
I am currently writing on the help of one of my programs and i noticed that
there is currently no easy way to display it, especially if it gets a bit
longer. FrmHelp(....) can display a long text but uses a bold font (not good
to read) and there is nearly no formating option.
The only alternative is to write your own form (maybe using a field to
display the text) but that takes time and every author has to reinvent the
wheel.
So what could be the solution?
How about a small "Help-System" shared library? Just give it a string and it
does all the things:
- Different sections of the text
- Links to different pages
- Forward/Back buttons
- Simple formatting (like a list for TOC, or normal and bold font)
- Caption of section in large font
- Scrolling with a scollbar and/or larger buttons
- maybe even (simple) compression
So now to the questions:
Who would be intersted in such a thing?
What would it need to do to be useful?
Would you be interested to work on it?
This sounds nearly like some special doc reader so maybe its a bit too much
i am thinking of....
