We did Windows development for many years, and the same problem existed. We
prefer hardcopy books over CD-ROM, and now have many many versions of the
Win16/Win32/Win95/WinNT SDK books. It's unfortunate, not to mention costly,
but assuming you want and need the hardcopy books for 3.0 Palm, you should
get them. But you should assume you will need to get them again when 3.3,
4.0, 5.0 come out. If nothing else they will be useful for going back and
supporting older devices running 3.0 (and 2.0 for that matter).
