No offense, but this is a developers forum. Please call Palm's tech support
for user problems.

Subject: Palm does not restart....
Hello,
I've recently moved from the Palm III to the V and have a current problem
with the device being stuck in the boot cycle. It appears to be in a
hardware loop of some sort.
History:
I tried to sync the device with both the Palm Desktop and Outlook. Since
then I've had a hardware error, of which I failed to write down the code,
not smart in retrospect. The device would unexpectedly power down and only
accessable by a hard reboot. Unfortuneately I was traveling and couldn't
sync with a desktop.
All of a sudden, after a few days of work on the road with some critical
data, it does not boot completely upon hard reset. I'm eager to try
anything to keep from erasing the data. Any Suggestions ?????????????????
The screen alternates from blank to the "Palm Computing Platform" and blank
again.
I would appreciate any help.
