This is entirely possible. Poser has to take into account a number of bugs in
1.0, 2.0 and sometimes 3.0 ROMs when deciding to flag something as an error.
Fortunately, the Palm OS engineers and testers were quick to make use of Poser's
error checking, and the number of Palm OS violations is greatly reduced starting
with 3.1.
It's possible that there is some overlooked problem in CtlSetLabel. If you
could provide the set of steps to reproduce the error message, we could look
into it and see.
