One of our customers had speed problems with Sat Forms when querying
data. A lookup of last_name on 2,500 records took 10 minutes. We
converted their application to use UltraLite and the same query took 2
seconds.
It depends on what type of data manipulation/functionality your
application will require.
Using SF for prototypes was fast and effective.
