Looking for stdio headers

I have a simple utility that requires a standard i/o interface as described
in Chapter 15 of the the Palm OS Programmers' companion. However, I cannot
locate the StdIOPalm.h header file or the StdIOPalm.c and StdIOProvider.c
source files that are required to get this to work. They don't seem to be in
the SDK. Is this functionality not supported in PalmOS 3.0? Or is this
something that comes with CodeWarrior only (I'm using gcc).
