So its not really a creatorID (as in a developer) its really a program ID
and every program a company makes need a different one. Why call it a
"creator" ID then? My problem is that I have 4 apps and I want them to only
fire a conduit once during Sync... the conduit will do work for all 4 when
it is called. The problem is that any of the 4 can be on the palm... not
necessarilly all of them will be there. If I register 4 different
creatorIDs with the conduit, it gets fired once for every program I have
installed, instead of just once. My best idea was to make a 5th program
that is just an empty program, but gets distributed will all the different
apps, that way it will be there no matter which of the other 4 apps is
installed. This 5th program would then be the one registered with the
conduit. The problem with that is that it shows up in the "applications"
window unless I change the "type" to other than "appl", but if I change the
type, then it no longer fires the conduit.

Anyone know another workaround for making multiple apps only fire a condiut
once durring sync???

Each individual app must have its own unique Creator ID. It's just
the law. If they all have the same Creator ID the launcher app will
(should) show the one with the highest version number. You can register
more Creator ID's at
