I attented a MICO workshop where the author of MICO for Palm conceded that
currently (summer last year) MICO was only running on POSE, not on Palm
due to Palm's memory fragmentation.
On the MICO for Palm Web site, I read that currently the code that would
"normally" be generated by the IDL compiler has to be implemented by the
developer. So this does not seem to be a very practical solution as marshalling
code under CORBA is only simple for small examples, but if sequences or
CORBA::Any types are involved, it gets a little bit complicated to write
this code from scratch.
Do you have more information on this or information about when an
"IDL2Palm" compiler will be available?
Cheers and Mahlzeit,
Holger
