Unfortunately, the sound generator on the Plan doesn't have the frequency
range to do DTMF dialing signals.

There is a device I believe called the Palm Parrot comming out this Christmas
season that is a multifunctional sound device for the Palm. It's half height
to a 3Com modem case and one of the functions is DTMF according to their web
page.
