Actually, I had forgotten about Jump, which was
an early Java-based dev tool for the Palm. It's
somewhat different though. Instead of having a
Virtual Machine on the Palm, Jump actually compiled
the Java code into assembler, then used Pila to
assemble the program.
Unfortunately, the original source for Jump is
no longer available. There is a newsgroup for Jump
on Darrin Massena's news server (news.massena.com),
perhaps someone there can point you to where to
get it.
