A soft reset doesn't delete applications...

I tried to Power off but I can't . It doesn't respond , but the application
is running. The reset Button deletes all the Palm Pilot V  Staff ???
There isn't any other solution??? What if you do a while (true) { }  loop
you will have to reset your Palm???

Any other idea?
