Better yet, try holding the "scroll up" button down then hit the reset button, wait a few seconds, and let the scroll button up. This will do a reset that doesn't send a message to all the installed apps (your app is probably crashing or going into its loop when it gets this message), and should allow the device to boot normally, then you can delete your app. Jesse
