You can load .prc and .pdb files into the emulator.  .prc is for
resource databases (e.g. applications), and .pdb is for regular
databases (e.g. most applications' data files).  If the backup bit is
set on a database, it will be backed up during HotSync to one of these
formats.  If the backup bit is not set and you have no way to set it,
you can use Backup Buddy or pilot-xfer to get the .prc/.pdb file.
