For those with Outlook or some other application that allows filtering:
Set up a rule that automatically sends any message with "General SMTP/ESMTP
error." in the body to the delete bin, when the message arrives. This has
stopped me having to worry about this annoying problem.
(Hope this helps ;) )

It looks like Keith extended Gremlins to the Development Support email
server
and the mailing list server! :-)
I've alerted our list master to this particular problem, so it should go
away
soon. Sorry about the inconvenience.

Ryan Robertson
Palm Development Support
BTW - The good news is that Development Support is in the process of
investigating a few new technologies to replace our existing email server
and
mailing list server, so things should get better soon. Please bear with us
while we sort out all these fun technical issues.

Is there any chance the address mentioned below can either be filtered out
or removed? It was tolerable at first, but I'm sure I'm not the only one
beginning to find this recurring message sightly annoying. :-)
Thanks in advance,
John Chandler
