Yeah, and 3com and the sales people should emphasize that fact more
clearly. I bought IIIe when being in San Jose, USA and luckily opened it
to check the expansion port. Can you imagine my surprise when I noticed
that there wasn't any. I develop pagercard apps. and I couldn't attach the
card on my new device. Looking the text on the box wasn't very helpful
and the salesman said that the main difference between III and IIIe was
the better screen. I managed to swap it for III model, but I still cannot
understand 3com's policy about *degrading* the products...

PS. About the price - III was $200 and IIIe was $220 in that store (Fries,
San Jose, CA)
