keep in mind that for some people it is not an one hour - trip in the bay
area or whatever. Living on the opposite side of the world has it benefits
but also makes conferences in CA a far huger hurdle. Starts with far more
expensive flights, additional jetlag compensation days, hard time to
organise a decent lodging and ends up with having to cope with
infrastructure (time difference etc.) to keep in touch with the bussines at
home.
How about webcasts for essentials?
