well, it compiles ok, my 4 files. 3 of them which contain functions are
called to ok, but one of them are not. the following are the linker errors
i get aswell as linker warnings i'm gettings (b4 the undefined functions)

Link Warning : ignored: `__Startup__' in \00Pilot\Full\Win\Palm OS 3.0
Support\Libraries\StartupCode\Src\StartupCode.c    Previously defined in
PalmOS_Startup.c

and it does that 7 more times with `__lmul__' `__ldivu__' `__ldiv__'
`__lmodu__' `__lmod__' `__wswtch__' `__lswtch__'.....

then it complains about linkerrors

Starter.cpp: `getUserListVersion()' referenced from `updatePassList()' is
undefined.
getUserListVersion is defined in another file then starter, but it is
externed in starter. it then complains 8 more times for 8 other functions
in that same other file. i have 2 other files which are being properly
defined and it doesn't complain... unless it doesn't get that far on the
link.

i have 2 approaches to this but both have the same problem. one with
headers, and externing's, and one without headers....
