Okay, today (21st) it has happened again! Can someone let me know if this is
a hardware or a software problem. AFAICT this is going to happen to my IIIx
every other day. Obviously doing a soft reset every time I notice the
problem is not going to be satisfactory.

there anything that I can do to help find a solution to it? I wasn't able to
reproduce it on demand, but this has occurred now twice since I bought the
unit six days ago.

It does seem like it is a software problem, but I can't figure out what steps
I am doing to trigger the problem.  The only things I do during the day are;
Proxiweb, Avantgo mobilelink, and email (my own software) -- this is all via
a Minstrel III. Now in my own software I do call AlmEnableNotification()
false/true during my mail check to belay the alarms. Maybe there is some
funky issue with that, though I've never had a problem with it on my OS3
units. Plus the alarms still work while the unit is on even though I am
currently experiencing the wake up problem.

Well I tried a bunch of stuff to see if I could get it working again without
resorting to a soft reset, but nothing worked. I tried a hotsync, setting
the clock in the preferences, using networking via modem, removed all hacks.
Nothing worked until I just went into hackmaster and hit the reset button.
