There's also a call in HostControl.h that will tell you what environment you're
running under (Emulator, Simulator, or real device). However, you can't safely
call that function on pre-3.0 ROMs (you can always call it under the Emuator,
but will crash on a pre-3.0 ROM on a real device), so I added the feature that
could always be queried.

Hello,

Is there an API function that can be used to determine whether
the program is running on a real Palm device or in the
emulator (POSE)?  Or is there a field in a system database that
can be queried?
