Yes, this is a bug. We are working with Metrowerks to get out a patch as
quickly as possible.

Subject: Backup bit problems in CW6
I cannot set the backup bit... once you close the preferences and return,
the check mark is gone! I don't want to add it using the APIs... any ideas
on a bug fix? workaround?
