I have a suggestion for the PalmOS SelectTime function that I would like to
see implemented in PalmOS 3.5's new version of the SelectTime function if it
is not too late.
The SelectTime(...) function displays a Dialog window which has a (i) tips
selection icon.
When you select it the tip displayed states
"There are three ways to access the SetTime dialog:
1) Tap the time next to an event.
2) Tap the time in the Event Details dialog.
3) Enter the time using Graffiti"
This information is accurate if SelectTime is being used within the DateBook
application however other applications may have different access methods.
There seems to be no reason to provide this function as a public routine if
the tip info is only applicable to the DateBook application. The SelectTime
function should have an parameter to pass a different tips string. Just
like it currently has a parameter for a different Title String.
I suggested this to [EMAIL PROTECTED] a while ago and they agreed however the
new version did not included it. This seems like a missed opportunity.
