Take a look at the documentation for SysSetAutoOffTime, which will return
the auto-off time, and EvtResetAutoOffTimer.

how can i detect the auto off timeout?  say the handheld is about to timeout
(turn off'ish),  and i want to have something done (function call,  move,
whatever) before the shutdown.  what can i do to have this done?
