there is one book by O'reily publication which is online.u will
find it in www.palm.com/devzone first download it.
read the first few chapters u will come to know every thing.

.it is given in the User's Guide that comes with your
palm pilot.if u want to use telnet facility then u can use the application
that comes with the Palm SDK.it is given in the folder Unsupported.
the name of the app is NetSample.u can also use this for FTP
and many other services.using code warrior u can laod this app
onto ur Pilot.
