Do you really need global variables? Or is your real need to have a piece
of information shared across the various sub-launches and sub-sub-launches?
If so, the Feature Manager might well have exactly what you want, with less
overhead and more control.
So if A does a sub-launch of B, which sublaunches A (call that one A-prime)
and you want A-prime to get some info that A set, just have A create a
feature with FtrNew or FtrPtrNew, and you're done, with no worries about
compilers or launch codes or A5 or anything.
If you really want the classic global variables, well, there's no
compiler/OS support for it, but if you're really careful you could hack it.
But it is error-prone. You'd probably save time if you just changed your
app code to not use globals.
