Well, my 1st Palm app is just about ready for release ("GedPalm," a
genealogy-related viewer/browser app). Thanks to all who answered my basic
"newbie" questions here. I was uncomfortable about coming off as a newbie
since I actually have 30+ years of professional s/w development under my
belt, but it has mostly been in embedded, realtime industrial control
systems. Interestingly, about 15 of those years involved writing Assembler
and C code for 68K-family products, so writing for the Palm was a bit like
"coming home again," big-endian hassles and all :-).
Anyway, thanks for answering my questions without flames or "RTFM" comments.
