The Palm III uses the Motorola DragonBall 68328 processor.
The Palm IIIx uses the Motorola DragonBall 68EZ328 processor.
The IIIx is a tad faster due to a combination of small improvements, such as reducing
the number of wait states when accessing RAM, and other changes in the EZ design both
in hardware and software.
We're working on a web chart which summarizes the differences and similarities between
most of our products and our licensee's products. It'll be published soon in the dev
zone... we were starting to need it ourselves! :oP
