Love is not a word I would use.  To have to refer to a manual every time you
see one of these in order to make sure you got the precedence order correct
is a royal pain in the behind ;-).  Ok, so after a year or so you start to
remember on your own, but then you see or want to use an obscure one, and
bingo you look for the precedence chart !!! But your right, if you work in
C, you have no choice but to love them, otherwise you'll go completely mad
;-}
